IPI Marimba Competition
Must be 17 years of age by July 31, 2019 and cannot be older than 30 by July 31, 2019.
Semifinalists are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements.
The first prize winner of the previous year is ineligible to compete in the current year, but may re-enter the competition after a one-year hiatus.

VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINES for Preliminary
Preliminary round June 3, 2019: registration form & competition fee are required before video submission will be accepted.
Semifinalists will be notified by June 10th
Please adhere to the following video submission guidelines
All videos must be submitted via YouTube.
Applicants should upload their video to YouTube as an Unlisted selection
(Unlisted selection should be changed under the privacy setting).
Please provide the link of video submission in the application as well as via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The YouTube page Description box in your video should include the following:
First and Last name
Date of Birth
Your email address

IPI Marimba Competition Guidelines
For the Preliminary Round please submit a professional quality video recording consisting of the following:
Marimba - Preliminary Round (Age 17-30)
Registration Fee: 157.00£, 175.00€, $200.00
Registration Fee includes participation in masterclasses with IPI Faculty and Jury Committee following the semifinal round. If you are participating in our IPI Seminar you will receive a discount for participating in our Marimba Competition (for additional information regarding discount, please contact us at email@example.com).
Preliminary Competition Jury Panel To Be Announced
Open: One work left to the discretion of the artist (12 minutes maximum length)
Video recordings submitted should include a complete performance of repertoire or movement selected.
Performances are to be recorded in one take, using one camera angle.
All submitted materials must have been recorded within the past six to eight months preceding the submission deadline of the preliminary round.
Marimba - Semifinal Round and Final Round (Age 17-30)
Semifinal and Final round will take place in the acoustically renowned King’s College Chapel on the campus of the The University of Aberdeen. Following the semifinal round there will be masterclasses with IPI Faculty.
